Erie County Fieldhouse was a concert venue/arena at the height of it's popularity in the late-70's early 80's. It was home to the Erie Blades and hosted many famous artists who would come through Erie as a stop on their tours between Buffalo and Cleveland. Journey, Kiss, ACDC, Rush, Van Halen, and Aerosmith are some of the famous acts that played there. The back of the shirt is filled with concert dates of some of their more popular shows hosted there.

Erie Collage Tee - BlackRegular price $ 22
Our Erie Collage is the epitome of hometown pride. Words printed in a satisfyingly geometric pattern is a list of all things Erie.
Holding onto Erie's history in the war of 1812, we have incorporated Oliver Hazard Perry's signature, the Brig Niagara, and “Don't Give Up The Ship”. Perry fought in the Battle of Lake Erie with the Brig Niagara as his flagship. His battle flag had the famous words, “Don't Give Up The Ship.”
Much of Erie's love is centered around Lake Erie and Presque Isle. In our collage we've made mention of The Bayfront, The Dock, Presque Isle Beach, the Bicentennial Tower, and Beach 6. All of which are popular locations for both Erieites and visitors.
Peach and State are two of Erie's most popular streets. They run parallel to each other from the bayfront heading South through Erie. State Street is home to Erie's downtown bar scene. Each bar features its own drink specials, so it's common to participate in a pub crawl. Every summer, these bars have an opportunity to host a block party once a week. Whilst traveling these streets it possible to see a random tandem at any moment. Two local men riding on a tandem bike searching for treasure in the ordinary.
We have also given a shout-out to some of Erie's iconic foods. Erieites will always recommend getting a pepperoni ball. A tennis ball sized chunk of friend dough with pepperoni in the middle. You can get them frozen in the grocery stores or made fresh at many restaurants. Erie has a few local chocolateries. They're most popular confection is sponge candy. It is an airy, crunchy toffee covered in chocolate. And of course being home to Smith's, Erie has proclaimed their hot dogs should be smothered in Greek sauce. Giving rise to the Greek Dog.
The last few design elements are local names for Erie, nautical accents for the lake, Erie's infamous snow, a Stag and Drag ticket, and Ax Murder Hollow. According to local lore, a farmer was brutally murdered by his wife with an ax. His ghost still lingers there. To end on a happier note, a Stag and Drag is a local tradition for soon-to-be married couples. The couple holds the event, which usually includes a Chinese auction and other pay to win games, to raise money for their wedding.
Printed on a premium 50/50 blend, heather black with light grey ink. Modern fitting. Also available in vintage purple.
